As long as there have been women, there have been women’s organizations in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and its predecessor denominations. Presbyterian Women came into formal existence on July 15, 1988 with the merger of United Presbyterian Women (UPCUSA) and Women of the Church (PCUS), following the reunion of the church. Twenty-one years of experience come join us!!
The Association enjoys being “surrogate room mothers” to a local special education class and has recently begun providing funds for snacks for needy children in another school. One of the aims of the Association is to reach out into the community and provide financial and spiritual assistance. An annual project has been to sponsor a family in need at Christmas by providing food and gifts.
The Association also provides financial assistance to the Goodland Boys Home, the Indian Nation Women, the Salvation Army, Red Cross and the Jesus Fund.
The Association has become a member of the Church Women United to provide and maintain contact with women of other churches in the community.
We invite all the women of the church to join us in our continued service to the Church and community.
We welcome you to our Monday night meetings.
